THE BOOK
In an alternate galaxy with two solar systems, an alien race has fled their dying home planet and colonized planet A7. The native population of hybrid creatures and shapeshifters are forced to either fall in line or go to prison. When shapeshifter Adrian Walker is promoted from his low profile position of janitor to warden of the prison, his girlfriend is taken prisoner by the aliens and he must join the resistance group working to take down the aliens in order to save her.
DAVID'S STORY
David Dann describes himself as “a simple man with simple needs.” Diagnosed with verbal apraxia at the age of two and autism at the age of four, David had trouble expressing himself from a young age. Growing up, he found a deep connection to animals—especially his family dogs Lily,
Lola, and Leia, who provided emotional support and ultimately the inspiration to write this book. Reading and watching science fiction also helped David discover more about himself and his passion for storytelling. A San Diego native, David now lives in Montana, where there’s plenty of room for more animals in his life.
